Some shots can only be captured from the air. Our licensed drone operators bring cinematic aerial footage to documentaries, commercials, real estate, events, and more — adding scale and perspective that ground-level filming can’t.

What aerial footage adds to your project

A drone shot can show in a few seconds what would take minutes to explain from the ground: the size of a site, the setting of a building, the shape of a landscape or the energy of an event. We use aerial filming for documentaries, commercials, tourism and destination films, property and real estate, and events, either as a stand-alone service or combined with our ground filming in the same production.

Flying safely and legally

Our pilot holds the EU A1/A3 and A2 drone licences, including the A2 Certificate of Competency, and we carry business drone insurance for commercial work. Many locations in and around Stuttgart are affected by airport zones, residential areas or nature reserves, so every shoot is planned around EU and German drone rules, and we check what permissions a location needs before we fly.

How a drone shoot works

Location and airspace check. We look at where you want to film and what the rules allow there.
Shot planning. Together we decide which views tell your story, and plan the flight and the time of day for the best light.
Filming. High-resolution aerial footage, with ground filming on the same day if your project needs it.
Post-production. Editing and colour grading so the aerial shots blend seamlessly with the rest of your film.

Questions

Do I need a permit to film with a drone in Stuttgart?

It depends on the location. Areas near Stuttgart Airport, many residential areas and nature reserves have restrictions, and some flights need permission. We check the rules for every location before the shoot and tell you what is needed.

Can you combine drone footage with ground filming?

Yes. Most of our aerial work is part of a larger film, so we plan the drone and ground shots together and edit them into one consistent piece.
